Kun Iam Ancient Temple

Introduction

Located at Avenida do Coronel Mesquita, Kun Iam Ancient Temple is one of the five temples built in the Ming Dynasty. The original Kun Iam Ku Miu was built at the south of Mong Ha Hill, but people at that time considered it too small and thus rebuilt it in 1867.The whole temple is composed by three shrines: Kun Iam Hall (dedicating to Bodhisattva Kun Iam), Hall of Goddess Kam Fa (dedicating to Goddess Kam Fa and the Dipper Mother) and Hall of the Progenitor Lu (dedicating to Lu Dongbin, Wealth God and the Warrior Li Jing).
